Everest Institute in Norcross

Norcross campus image

Founded in 2003 as a Georgia Medical Institute campus with only 28 students, the Norcross campus of Everest Institute joined the Corinthian Colleges, Inc., network of schools in 2006. The campus was named Everest Institute in April 2007. Today, the campus has nearly 800 students.

As a career training center, we pride ourselves on maintaining a professional atmosphere for our students. Students and staff alike adhere to a professional dress code and practice excellent customer service. This helps the student transition into the working world be seamless and prepares them for success.

The campus has three lecture classrooms with complete audio-visual setups, three computer labs, two medical labs, one dental lab with four full operatories, and one massage lab that doubles as a clinic. We have a student lounge, an on-sight bookstore, and a library with four additional computers for the students’ use. We recently remodeled our facilities with updated diagnostic equipment, and medical labs.

Students can participate in quarterly blood drives, March of Dimes walks, and on-campus events such as "Mock Clinic" and "Career Success." Tutoring, coordinated with the instructors and department chairs, is also available to all students at no additional charge.

The Norcross campus is located on the northeast side of the greater Atlanta area, midway between Atlanta, Gainesville and Athens. The campus is located within 20 miles of Stone Mountain, Lake Lanier, three major universities – UGA, Georgia Tech and Emory – as well as the CNN headquarters, the Weather Channel, and the Coca-Cola International headquarters.

We are proud of our efforts to accommodate students with a varied class schedule beginning most weekdays at 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. We have two graduation ceremonies a year producing approximately 600 graduates annually.
