Everest College in Milwaukee

The campus, located in Milwaukee’s Haymarket Square, is dedicated to helping each student meet his or her educational goals. Student and faculty volunteerism is an ongoing mission at the Milwaukee campus.

Community Affiliations

Everest College in Milwaukee believes that being part of the community is a benefit to everyone. Community affiliations include Milwaukee FUEL, Milwaukee Urban League, Milwaukee Urban League Young Professionals, African American Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, Westown Association, and the East Town Association.

Campus Resources

We provide a number of resources for students looking to attend our school. Our "Great Wall of Resources" available in the Student Services Department lists a number of useful resources for student use. Additionally, we can also make recommendations if there's a service we do not offer. Student's benefit from the following availabilities:

  • Library with computers available open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Study groups available to help with reading, writing, spelling, math and general education skills
  • Tutoring services available as needed through the librarian, instructors and student ambassadors
  • Bookstore offering school essentials is open:
    • Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
    • Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Campus cafeteria and vending machines available

Off-Site Resources

Located in the downtown area of Milwaukee, there are a number of off-site resources available, including:

  • Off-site childcare service recommendations
  • A number of Milwaukee food venues within walking and driving distance including a local hot dog cart outside the front entrance

Transportation

Public transportation and nearby routes eases the challenge of attending school:

  • Eligibility for a UPASS bus pass through Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) if enrolled as a full-time student
  • Bus stops located at:
    • North 6th Street and Vliet Street (357 feet northeast)
    • Juneau Street and North 6th Street (.1 miles south)
  • Close to interstates and highways:
    • Zoo Freeway (US Highway 45)
    • W. Fond Du Lac Ave. (WI State Highway 145)
    • Interstate 43
    • Interstate 94
    • Interstate 794
    • Interstate 894

Parking

Everest College's Milwaukee campus has its own ample no cost parking lot located just outside the school entrance.

Security

Everest College in Milwaukee offers a number of resources available to help students stay focused on their educational goals. Feel free to ask your student services coordinator for more information. Campus Security measures include:

  • Security guards on duty daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Campus perimeter fence
  • Building security alar
  • School and parking lot security cameras

Directions from Interstate 43: From I-43 north, exit at McKinley Avenue take a left at 6th Street and the campus is immediately on the left.
